We had our VBS July 18th through the 24th. We averaged 45 youngsters Monday through Friday evening with the themes each night, including Meet Up with Jesus, Look Up to Jesus, Join Up with Jesus, Open Up to Jesus and Fire Up to Jesus!

Ninos con Vida (Kids with Life) Vacation Bible School is a fairly new program at Esperanza de Vida Community Center, a Hispanic Ministry of the Missouri River District now in its third year. This program -- available in the last two months of summer -- serves children ages 4 to 11. They learn to make crafts, meet new friends and learn about God.

Norfolk FUMC held its 2011 Vacation Bible School June 7-10, in the evening. The Shake-It-Up Cafe was a great theme to work with and the kids really connected with the Bible stories, food, music and fun!
