Dear Colleagues in Ministry,

Welcome! I am excited about our newly reformatted website. Here we can share valuable information with one another in Nebraska and offer another way to connect with our neighbors scattered across the state and around the world. This is one more tool for us to use in connecting our ministry in each place to one another, to the Annual Conference and to the broader church ministry. We are committed to our mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. As Christ followers we move out into the world doing the healing, preaching, teaching, loving, caring, justice seeking, culture transforming work of God.

To do this work we are called to maximize our resources, to build our capacity to do the mission and ministry to which we are called, to learn from one another, to rethink church and move into God’s world, bringing life-changing hope. This website gives us another way to share.

I will look forward to learning with you and to listening to your thoughts and ideas. So many new ideas are fermenting within The United Methodist Church. We are experimenting with new and better ways to use social media and technology to tell and share the old, old story of Jesus and his love.
