Change the World webcast: Thursday, Feb. 23, noon CST

Nebraska United Methodist Conference Communications/Marketing Director, Kathryn Witte and Communications/Marketing Coordinator, Trisha Johnson will share information and tips to prepare local congregations to take part in Change the World Day on May 19. Nebraska-Kansas Episcopal Area Transition Team listening session Saturday, Feb. 23, 10:30 a.m.

The final listening session before the Nebraska-Kansas Episcopal Area Transition Team meets on March 1-2, in Manhattan, Kan., is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 25, from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Questions can be forwarded to info@umcneb.org or 800-435-6107. Bishop Ann B. Sherer-Simpson and Transition Team member Sheran Cramer will present recommendations for becoming one new annual conference. A vote by all three conferences (Nebraska, Kansas East and Kansas West) will be taken at their respective annual conference sessions in the spring. Between the March 1-2 Transition Team meeting and the annual conference sessions, more communication will be made available regarding any updates to the recommendations.
