Scholarship and award information for 2008-2009.

Merit Scholarship Award

Merit Award: The Nebraska Conference provides two scholarships of between $600 and $1000. This scholarship is funded by the Conference-wide Student Day offerings taken the last Sunday in November. Applicants must be an active member of a United Methodist congregation for at least one year, and be either an entering freshman or a currently enrolled student at a United Methodist-related college or university. Upon verification of enrollment the scholarship funds will be sent to the student.

Pre-Theological Scholarship

Pre-Theological Scholarship: The Nebraska Conference provides a scholarship to a student who has junior or senior standing at a college or university, is an active member of a United Methodist congregation (at least 1 year), be a declared or certified candidate for the ordained ministry planning to enroll at a United Methodist related seminary, and be in good academic standing at their college or university.
