The spring 2010 course, "Turning the Diamond: Religion from the Perspective of Research," is led by Rev. Dr. Jerry Bockoven, chair in the Psychology Department, and the Rev. Larry Moffet, senior pastor of First United Methodist Church in Lincoln. Beginning Tuesday, Feb. 2, from 12-1 p.m., and concluding on March 9, 2010. Wesleyan Live will host nine video downlink sites and the option of streaming live on the conference Web site right here on UM-STREAM.

Wesleyan Live offers continuing education courses for clergy, laity and community members. Courses are taught by Nebraska Wesleyan faculty, in Lincoln, and by other guest faculty members with a wide range of expertise from many other places. Wesleyan Live is televised live across the state via the NET Nebraska Video Conferencing Network and now via video streaming.

For just $40 you can register for the February Wesleyan Live so that you can receive course credit and to receive all the course support materials (without ever leaving your home or office).

Live Locations

The sessions are televised live from the Nebraska Education Telecommunications building in Lincoln. The possible transmittal sites, which will be determined according to registrations, include Ainsworth, Beatrice, Grand Island, Kearney, Lincoln, Norfolk, North Platte, Omaha and Scottsbluff. A minimum of six registrants is needed at each location.

Registration and Credit

The enrollment cost is $40 per person or $20 for a retired person.
